Liza Treyger is one of our favorite comics. She’s graced our stage, and we use the term loosely, enough times to have her own Wiggle Room following. She’s been seen on Comedy Central on the prestigious “Comics to Watch” and at the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival. This week, she headlines Wiggle Room and she’s damn hilarious. Check Liza out at her website and Follow her on Twitter.
WR: Comedy Central named you one of 2012’s “Comics to Watch”. Watch you do what?
LT: Wear an amazing glitter tutu and heels and kill it. most my comedy is about what i hate or trying to get people to make out with me.
WR: Would you rather make out or boss people around?
LT: THIS IS THE HARDEST QUESTION EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Make outs always come first though.
WR: What topics are off limits for you on stage?
Nothing is off limits. the more you say about yourself on stage the more you get over things and live a more fun life filled with no shame. chatting and gossiping are a huge hobby of mine so it’s hard to keep anything in my head in there for long and I have to say everything. Not so much topics but I try not to make cheap jokes at the expense of others, politics are boring, I don’t make fun of people for just being foreign, no accents or act outs, and I think that’s it. I don’t use hateful language.
WR: What’s the cutest name you’ve ever called a lover?
LT: The N word
WR: What’s the worst thing someone has called you? Was it accurate?
LT: Well, I’ve been called a terrible person and I don’t think I’m terrible, just difficult.
